The Second People’s Hospital of Foshan is a large-scale modern healthcare project located in Foshan, Guangdong, China. As a Grade-A tertiary public hospital integrating medical treatment, education, and scientific research, the building required architectural materials with high standards for durability, safety, hygiene, and visual consistency.
For this project, Dingchengzun provided customized aluminum veneer panels and interior aluminum square tube solutions. The aluminum panels were mainly applied to the curtain wall and architectural surface areas, while the interior aluminum square tubes were used to create clean linear ceiling and decorative effects in public spaces.
With a total floor area of about 273,100 m², the Green Island Lake Campus is designed to support 1,200 beds and up to 10,000 outpatient visits per day. For such a high-traffic medical environment, the selected aluminum materials needed to meet both functional performance and long-term appearance requirements.
Aluminum veneer panels were used as one of the key architectural materials in this project. The panels helped create a smooth, clean, and modern building appearance while supporting the hospital’s requirements for durability and easy maintenance.
According to Dingchengzun’s project reference, the curtain wall aluminum panels used for this project are based on 2–3 mm AA3003 aluminum alloy, with PVDF or powder-coated surface finishes available. These finishes help improve weather resistance, color stability, and long-term surface performance for exterior and public building applications.
For hospital buildings, aluminum panels are especially suitable because they are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, non-combustible, and easy to clean. Their flat surface also helps create a professional and hygienic architectural image, which is important for medical spaces.
In the interior areas, aluminum square tubes were used to form a clean, linear, and orderly ceiling effect. Compared with traditional flat ceiling materials, square tube systems can create stronger depth, rhythm, and spatial layering.
The linear design helps guide the visual direction of corridors, waiting areas, and public spaces. It also works well with lighting, ventilation, and other building systems, making the interior space look more open and organized.
For a hospital environment, the aluminum square tube system provides several practical advantages. It is lightweight, stable, easy to install, and convenient for later maintenance. The spacing, size, color, and finish can also be customized according to project drawings and interior design requirements.
Medical buildings have higher requirements than ordinary commercial spaces. Materials used in hospitals must support frequent use, easy cleaning, fire safety, and stable long-term performance.
The aluminum veneer panels and interior square tubes used in this project help meet these requirements. The aluminum panel system provides a durable and refined surface for the building envelope, while the square tube ceiling system improves the visual order and modern atmosphere of the interior space.
Dingchengzun’s aluminum ceiling and facade products are widely used in hospitals, schools, offices, shopping malls, and other indoor and outdoor spaces. The company also provides customized sizes, finishes, and styles for different architectural and construction needs.
To meet the project’s architectural and installation requirements, Dingchengzun provided customized product support based on drawings, dimensions, surface finish requirements, and installation details.
The aluminum veneer panels were processed to ensure accurate dimensions, consistent surface quality, and stable installation performance. For the interior square tube system, customized spacing and layout helped achieve a neat and continuous ceiling effect.
This project reflects the importance of project-based customization in large public buildings. From exterior wall panels to interior linear ceiling systems, each product needed to match the hospital’s design language while supporting long-term operational use.
After installation, the project achieved a clean, professional, and modern healthcare environment. The aluminum veneer panels improved the building’s exterior image, while the interior aluminum square tubes added rhythm, depth, and visual clarity to the indoor public areas.
The combination of aluminum panels and square tubes helped balance architectural aesthetics with practical performance. For a large hospital project with high daily traffic, these materials provide durability, easy maintenance, and a refined visual effect.
The Second People’s Hospital of Foshan project demonstrates Dingchengzun’s ability to provide customized aluminum solutions for large-scale healthcare architecture. Through aluminum veneer panels and interior aluminum square tube systems, the project achieved a strong balance of safety, durability, hygiene, and modern design.
Dingchengzun will continue to support hospitals, public buildings, commercial complexes, and large architectural projects with high-quality aluminum ceiling, wall, and facade solutions.
